General Architectural Design Company is seeking a junior and an intermediate/experienced Architectural Technician with confidence in producing accurate architectural and construction drawing for residential projects.
General Architectural Design company has a vibrant, cooperative culture that provides a very supportive work environment. Our office is located in North Shore of Auckland. Our focus is on residential single house, town house and also commercial projects.  We want reliable, motivated, determined individuals to fill two permanent full-time role.

Requirements needed for the Junior/graduate architectural technician: （初级建筑设计绘图人员的招聘要求--适合有一定实际工作经验的迎接建筑设计系毕业生）

• A National Degree in Architectural Studies with some internship experience in New Zealand.
• Must be well experienced in using architectural design software and being able to use ArchiCAD is preferred.
• Good understanding of NZ construction materials, methods, detailing and practical knowledge NZS3604:2011 and related NZ Building Code.
• Excellent organizational skills and Multitasking is essential in this role. Must be able to prioritize projects.
• Excellent time management skills, to meet deadlines and work quickly but efficiently under pressure.
• A person who’s reliable, dependable and honest.
• NZ drivers License.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand
  

Requirements needed for the intermediate/experienced architectural technician: （中级建筑设计绘图人员的招聘要求--有一定经验的建筑设计绘图人员，熟悉建筑法规，有申请RC,BC的经验）

• A National Degree in Architectural Studies with minimum 2-3 years architectural design experience in New Zealand.
• Proficient in architectural design software and new digital way of working. Being able to use ArchiCAD is preferred.
• A thorough knowledge of New Zealand Building Code.
• Good understanding of NZ construction materials, methods, detailing and practical knowledge NZS3604:2011, NZS 4229:2013 & NZBC Acceptable Solutions.
• Must have the know how / practical knowledge of building and resource consent procedures.
• Experience with submitting consents to council and get them approved.
• You should be confident taking conceptual drawings and converting them accurately into construction drawings ready for consent and build. - Must be confident in liaising with Clients, Engineers, Builders and Councils.
• Quick and efficient in problem-solving ability to Client, Council and RFI’s.
• Excellent organizational skills and Multitasking is essential in this role. Must be able to prioritize projects.
• Excellent time management skills, to meet deadlines and work quickly but efficiently under pressure.
• A must have thorough and exceptional written + verbal communication skills, the ability to communicate and liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and council in a professional manner.
• Capable of working independently and unsupervised.
• A person who’s reliable, dependable and honest.
• NZ drivers License.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand
