新冠中标后，最痛苦的还是家人吧

中了新冠后，最痛苦的还是家人吧。
那得了新冠的隔离的隔离，住院的住院。
家人才是最痛苦的，又是精神压力又是经济压力，还有最后社会压力。 华人圈子谁要是得了，TMD直接社会死了。断绝来往？
只能活在微信中？
每天人回复你好吗？ 还好吧？

所以全面封锁，家里蹲，注意安全

一开始我也这样说， 得了新冠， 社会给与得伤害远比病毒带来得伤害大。

不过随着现在的共存策略， 得新冠显得更加“日常”了， 社会伤害相对降低下来。

明年大爆发肯定就跟其他国家一样，确诊都让在家康复，除非呼吸困难再去医院。

但我一直搞不懂一个问题，除非自己一个人住，不然确诊后在家康复怎么可能不传染家人？

实际上现在的新冠病毒已经没有那么大杀伤力了，但是很多人还是挺恐惧的

跟病毒并存是大趋势，迟早观念都要扭转过来

  等疫苗接种率上去，又有口服新冠药了的时候，新冠就跟流感一样处理了

  没啥压力不压力了  新加坡已经开始病毒共存政策了

真的等大爆发了 想去医院也去不了的 只能等死 尤其老人

人生在世都是吃五谷杂粮，哪会没有个病痛。
家家都有老人，从来没见过哪家就只有40岁以下的。没有小孩，那岂不是没后的状态。

说是年轻人抗的住，哪有人会永远年轻能，30岁人体的机能就开始走下坡路了。只是大家谁走的快谁走的慢。

也不一定了。比如：去年加拿大小土豆的老婆确诊了，小土豆就安全无事。当时还什么疫苗都没有呢。

The 1400 extra nurses “trained” to staff this surge capacity?
Their training was a 4 hour online training module and 4 hour simulation skills session.

For reference, a normal orientation period for an ICU nurse is between 216-240 hours over 6 weeks.
This allows them to look after a ‘straight forward’ ICU patient safely without direct supervision from a preceptor.

So a scenario: those ICU beds I mentioned? They’re already at least half full of patients right now.

Maybe your immune system lives up to your expectations and you get through covid ok. But not everyone will. Those beds fill up.
Surge capacity kicks in.

What happens if you get appendicitis? What happens if your appendix ruptures while you’re waiting 6 hours for an ambulance because they’re overwhelmed with calls?
What happens when you get sepsis while waiting hours for your surgery because most of the operating theatres have been converted to use as ICU beds?
What happens when you need an ICU bed, but the bed you get is in the corner of a post anaesthetic care unit with a nurse looking after you who has never seen the inside of an ICU?

They’ll do their best. We all will.
But will it be enough?

Read the scenario again, but imagine it’s your child. Your husband, or wife.
Your mother/brother/father/sister/aunty/uncle/best friend.

If you are unsure, if you are still weighing up the risks and benefits, make sure you are getting your information from validated sources providing you with evidence based information to base your decision on.

Because while everyone is wondering how many people they will be able to have over for Christmas this year, our intensive care teams are wondering how they will possibly care for the amount of patients coming to spend Christmas with them.

对的，许多密切接触者，都不一定得。本次奥大那确诊，当时大课室里几十号人，都没被感染。
