是的，第一次4级的lockdown 政府都被人告了，法院还判政府最初几天的4级lockdown 是非法的。这次如果可以请到一个好的律师，相信现有的房东们也可以通过众筹去告政府的。政府这次做的的确很离谱，违反了基本的会计原理，it doesn’t make any logical sense! 我们支持政府通过税收去弥补疫情的经济损失，但是税金必须取之有道，让人信服！

同意。没有经过public讨论，没有听取财政部税务局的专家意见，在内阁决定如此重大的事务，很有可能是违法的。

The government action might be unpopular but not illegal.

The voters had given them the mandate of big majority to do what they want.
If Winston Peters is in the Cabinet, he might have blocked this kind of tax without public consultation and without disclosing and bang with a big tax bill.

The government with this kind of majority is arrogant, the way Grant Robertson and David Parker talk is arrogant and is almost saying they are the law, they can do what they want, short of saying they are above the law.
