Night Porter - Eliza's Manor Boutique Hotel Awesome live in position available for a talented multitasker that loves to get down to business and enjoys interacting with guests. We are a Boutique Hotel & Restaurant in central Christchurch providing unique accommodation and dining experience. What we need from you: The ideal candidate is likely to have experience in Hospitality and or Front of House and/or Night Porter position within a busy Hotel & Restaurant. You will have an eye for detail, able to work with a team and have a friendly, approachable personality. You will be guest focused, with no request too big or too small to ensure guest satisfaction. You will be required to work the overnight shift from 7.00pm to 7.00am and able to work on weekends and public holidays Have a full NZ driver's licence Valid New Zealand working rights (no sponsorship for this position is available and provided) Current Duty Managers Certificate is a bonus. List of Duties: Inspect areas for unsafe conditions, unlocked doors and potential security breaches on the grounds. Assist guests with luggage and finding rooms. Night Porter duties will be a live-in position and you will be responsible for ensuring the public areas and bathrooms are clean and ready for service the following day, the laundry and vacuum cleaning all carpeted areas and clean and restock fridges and coffee machines etc...
