A Polish beauty told Manhattan jurors Monday that her jealous financier ex — who arrived to court with his tall, blond Polish wife — was a self-hating Asian-American who was obsessed with Eastern European women so he could whiten the gene pool.
“He was engaged to a Ukrainian, he was dating a Polish woman before me, he was basically looking for a particular type,” Marta Billeci, 44, testified in her civil-harassment case against Taye Famm, 41, a former Soros Fund employee.
She added that Famm, who worked for billionaire investor George Soros, first introduced himself as “Stefan” from France when they met and would often leave restaurants that had “too many Asians.”“He was looking to have children. He made a reference that it’s going to improve genes,” Billeci said.
She says in her suit that Famm ruthlessly harassed her for two years after she broke up with him by e-mail in 2011. He even posted a bikini shot of her on YouTube and called her a “depreciating asset,” Billeci testified.
Billeci told the all-female jury that she was fired from her $110,00-a-year software sales job when cops served her at work with a restraining order he’d gotten against her in 2013. She’s suing him for $250,000.
Famm claims he got the order to protect himself and his family against Billeci’s harassment including claims that she called his newborn son a “yellow rat bastard.”
But Billeci insists the remark was referring to a since-shuttered Soho clothing store with that name — and even brought a t-shirt from the store to court to prove it.
Famm’s lawyer, Daniel Tessler, declined to comment outside court, only saying that the parties are in settlement discussions. Famm is expected to take the witness stand in his own defense Tuesday if there’s no deal.
