Residence Visa 2年到期后可否不申请PR而直接等入籍

请问大家，Residence Visa 2年到期后可否不申请PR而直接等入籍？或者要换新的Residence Visa?

理论上，PR只是出新西兰后再入境才有用，如果一直呆在新西兰不出境，是否不用换PR而等5年后直接入籍？（未来3年不会出境）

请大家指教。

当然要换新的， 不然就算黑户。 要么申PR要么换新的R。

只要不出境，换不换永久都没有关系。在RV 失效后 如果出境， 即失效。
至于楼主的问题。 如下，直说了可以无限期待在NZ的条件，但是没说是否必须要irrv，但可是我认为这个意思就是要irrv. 让过来人解释吧
General requirements for the grant of citizenship

to be eligible to be granted citizenship,

正解，不离开新西兰确实可以不换PR。

不换prv没关系。 不过即使不出境 也不需要省那100多刀啊 换了就预防有什么急事要出境的。

可以不换的， RV的2年到期只是2年之后不能出入境而已。 RV本身就已经是indefinite了。

你不出境就可以等5年，那个签证也只有travel condition
