父母团聚移民

请问各位大侠：申请父母团聚移民、其中要求子女持有Pr 或 公民、并3每年连续坐满184天。 这184天是从递交EOI开始往前推算。还是被选上以后开始往qian推算？谢谢

In order to gain residence under the Parent Category, applicants must be sponsored by an adult child (see F4.5.10) who:

meets the requirements to be an acceptable sponsor as set out at R4.5, including being:
ordinarily resident in New Zealand; and
a New Zealand citizen and/or the holder of a New Zealand residence class visa for at least three years immediately preceding the date the application they wish to sponsor is made; and
agrees to meet the undertakings set out at R4.10 for the first five years of the applicant’s stay in New Zealand as a resident.

sponsor需要拿了residence visa三年后才能有资格作为担保人申请父母团聚类别。你说那个每年坐满184天是另外一个概念是拿了residence visa后转成permanent residence visa的方式之一。

他上面的the date the application 是指收到邀請函後你可以申請時，交申請書時往前算三年。並不是Eoi時往前算。我就是2014年以為那個application是eoi application，然而有一年在國內待超過半年，那次就算錯被拒。現在eoi選上的時間超過半年，如果有在國內待超過半年的朋友，時間一定要算好，我第二次eoi選到後，邀請函寄來時，又差了一天不夠184天，今年第三次選到了，整個就是花了好多選eoi的錢!! 希望大家順利別像我一樣。

但是如果打电话给他们的call centre他们的解释是要三年，每年够天树才可以递EOI.这个你可以打电话给call centre再确认一下。
