万能的上班族啊，有Telecom网络小组上班的大神们

先感谢各位大哥热心进来看贴了，求回复

我申请了一个junior级别的网络小组的职位，马上会进行第二次的技术面试，主管说他会让另外一个senior的工程师问我，大概会持续一个半小时到两个小时吧
我想问下，像这种面试大概会问些什么啊？是一问一答的形式呢，还是做题的那种。是只问专业的呢，还是也要考什么智力题奥赛题脑筋急转弯什么之类的

具体申请的是新建的夜班网络小组，从晚上十一点持续到第二天早上七点。昨天他大致给我讲了下工作流程，晚上需要做的就是一些update和maintenance的工作，也牵扯到一些白天遗留下来的trouble shooting的工作。在我的理解里，update应该是对ios和防火墙的病毒库进行update吧，这个没什么好说的，那maintenance的工作指的是都有哪些呢？


或者如果你是一个主考官，对一个junior级别的应聘者，关于网络（路由器啊，交换机啊，防火墙啊）这方面，有什么想问的问题呢？

auckland or Hamilton based? exactly which team are you applying a role for? NOC? TOC?

most interviews are face to face, different team have different ways of running interviews, if you can tell me more about the team/role you applied for, i might be able to tell you more bout wht they do etc.

我申请的是24*7 support engineer在奥克兰的. 具体工作说是在白班先培训三个月，以后会转到夜班，每晚11点到第二天早上7点。具体工作是会网络进行update还有些维护的工作。我也不大清楚具体到底是哪个小组的，面试我的人是一个
Technical Services Manager隶属于Client Operations。不知道老大是否可以赐教，一般大致会问些什么啊，谢谢！

questions asked will depends on what the team support. Up until now i still don't know which team's role you have applied. What's the name of the TSM? (might help me work out which team you applying a role for).

Check out the original job advertisement, that should give you some clue what skills/experience you need to have.

i interviewed and hired Rod into the company 10-12 years ago. :)

The team you are going for is likely to be the SDP cloud support team, they support pretty much everything available under the sun (Microsoft, Linux, applications, cisco, firewalls, load balancers, etc etc, you name it). I don't know which team now has a 24x7 requirement, i don't think questions they ask during interview will be super technical though. have a look at http://www.sparkdigital.co.nz/solutions/cloud if you want to know the type of services they support.

Is this the role you applied for (https://careers.sparknz.co.nz/jobdetails/ajid/gYfg7/24-7-Engineer,2829.html)? If it is, then as long as you can answer questions related to whatever you put on your CV, you should do fine. Rod is a very nice guy, should just take it easy and be yourself in the interview.
