SOS -- Permanent residency visa complication

Hi All,

Please HELP! Need some advice on the application for Permanent residency visa for my parents!!!

Here is the timeline, which will explain why I am so worried now! It was all my fault that I didn't understand the application process fully and have booked everything in advance!

• Their residency visas were granted in July 2012
• They first entered in NZ on 15 Oct 2012 and went back in China on 20 Apr 2013 (187 days for first 12 months)
• They again came in NZ on 14 Mar 2014 and by 14 Sep 2014, they will have their 184 days for the second 12 months
• They can't apply for permanent residency visa till 15 Oct 14 but we are leaving for family trip to USA in the evening of 16 Oct 14!!!!!
  

Can anyone advise what is my best option now???
Their residency visa will be expired after we leave for USA, meaning they can't come back in NZ! wHAT DO I DO!!!!

just burn your ticket to USA, residency is more important that holiday i reckon. All the best!!

don't you ever think twice before you booking if you parents residence visa is meaning anything for you?
earlier or later are both fine, but you made most stupid choice
