Just receive the latest NZ Property Investor Magazine, there is a statistics on median sale price change in the last 10 years. I grab Auckland figures as follows.

You can see in total 27 areas, only 6 of them prices have been doubled in last 10 years. I can reasonably conclude the overall Auckland property median sale price hasn't been doubled over 10 years, which means compound annual growth rate is less than 7%. That is a very healthy rate. |
