Bus service interruption

Services affected: Metrolink, North Star, Go West, Waka Pacific, and all LINK bus services
Time: 10am - 2pm

The reported full-day strike by NZ Bus drivers has been called off after a proposed settlement was reached between NZ Bus, the Tramways Union and First Union.

A union meeting has been called for Monday 17th September to ratify this proposed settlement.

Metrolink North Star, Go West, Waka Pacific, and all LINK bus services will not operate on Monday 17 September between 10am and 2pm due to this meeting.

School bus services are not affected.

All other bus, train and ferry services are operating as usual

There may be other options available in your area including Ritchies, Birkenhead Transport, Urban Express, Howick and Eastern buses, train or ferry services. Plan ahead using the Journey Planner. Normal fares apply.

Please note: The Journey Planner will continue to show Metrolink, North Star, Go West, Waka Pacific, and all LINK bus options however these services will not be in operation.
