The problem
A manufacturing fault with the safety fuse of the heater may cause a hole to form in the panel. This may pose fire hazard.

Details
Goldair Ecosave panel heater GECO200, with a date code of 5210, 1311, 1911 or 2311.

Sold through Mitre 10, Mitre 10 Mega and Briscoes stores between February and December 2011.

2012 models are not affected.

What to do
Stop using the heater. Call 0800 232 633 for instruction on how to receive a replacement model.
