who can understand the iphone disconnection fees

just got the info from telephone regarding iphone 4s.
It says that if i sign the contract for the 80per month plan, after four months or something, if i want to discontinue the contract, i need to pay a fine of 500. do i have to give the phone back? If i need to go to oz nxt year, that means i will need to stop my contract. Can i only pay 280?

I believe you pay the 500 fine, and you can keep the phone.

it means you heve to pay penality if you terminate your contact earlier than signed term. After paying the fine, you can keep the phone.
