请问关于stats的post

请问有人学过 Statistics 782 吗？看着还挺简单的？貌似没有final exam。 谢谢。

如果LZ学过stats220或380，那782对你来说不算很难，最好要有点unix基础

stats只学过100的课，但是我是CS的，linux和编程都没问题？ 总的来说其他方面会难吗？

以后有任何关于782的问题问他肯定没问题。。。。

关于782， 的确没有final 因此想fail 是非常困难的， 但是想拿A+也是同样困难的。
不过跟着R的发明人去学习R 应该是一件不错的经历。。。

东哥也是学cs的， 你看每节课做在最后面 拿个Macbook air的就是他了。
我不学782，我走理论路线。。。

Ross might be leaving at the end of the year. Anyway, to answer your question, I think they said that because for assignments it is much more difficult to get an A+ mark compared to exams. (Unless the assignment is awfully hard, you normally do not see a class average of 60% or below, since people check their assignments with their friends before handing it in)
