elective course 指什么课程？

看handbook上写Bcom 要修两门elective course， 这是指哪些课？必须要修吗
跟general education course什么区别呢？

general education is any paper with a G
elective is any paper that is NOT your major..
for example, i major in accounting and tax, my finance paper can be my elective

elective paper 就是指除了你的专业课还有 GE课之外的课程.用来补充你的大学学分的课程,可以是专业课程之外的学科.
