u can use ASB online banking to transfer $$ to ur HK HSBC account.. but it is the most expensive way . coz exchamge rate is bad and ASB will charge 25 dollars as handling fee plus HSBC hong kong will charge extra $$ for handling fee as well..
or u can go to "東平" to transfer $$ .. they only charge NZ$25 dollars for handling fee and exchange rate is better too. give them the exact amount of money that u are going to transfer .... give the countre lady the HSCb Hong Kong A/C number... they will ask u the HSBC bank branch address too.. if it is a HSCB a/c .. just write down " 1 queen's road central hong kong" as the address... p.s the countre lady will check ur ID... u can show her ur passport or NZ driver licence... i dun think they accept Hong Kong ID card.
that's it ... very easy ! i did the transfer 2 weeks ago .. and i received the $$ into my hong kong hsbc a/c in just few hours ... much much much better n cheaper than do it through ASB.
