how long is this trip gonna take? a year? is this a childhood dream fulfilled? i really admire people who are able to achieve what they've set out to do.

a trip like this is only 6 months~ but all together I waited nearly 3 weeks for visa! it will save a lot of time if one decide to go through Kazakhstan and Russia, where only 2 visa is required, compare to my route (5 visa required for Kiwi passport), but the route going through Russia Kazakhstan is really boring.
No, this is not a childhood dream, to be honest, its a by-product of my wife's detoured PhD study. (originally she was going to study in Australia, I told her if she is going there, I will go and do what I am doing at the moment for 6 months, at the end, she didnt go to Australia to study for her PhD, but the trip planning has taken over me... ) |
