帮朋友的车子问个问题,,,,,        Volvo  S40   安全气囊灯亮了, 他一直没注意, 今天过WOF, 没给过, 有高人知道的话,指点一下~    谢谢~

there could be various reasons to show an airbag light, for volvo, the most common:

1. just needs to be reset by an proper tool, a bosh scan tool will fix that, it is a 3 minute job, costs nothing,

2. seatbelt pre-tensioner has to be replaced, this part is extremly hard to find, cost will be $300 - $500

3. the worst, and unfortunately the most common problem for volvo, the air bag control module, also called airbag sensor, really expensive to fix, because it needs software to configure module to that particular car, so only authorised dealer can do it, and there is only one in auckland, and they charge millions for fixing that, even if you got second hand or brand new module, it will still cost you at least 1000 dollars on labouring and software, haven't said that module is 2000 + gst from them.

so driving a volvo is really a luxury thing to have, but it costs alot to maintain, hope this will help, sorry i havent got chinese input on this computer, if you have futher question, i will answer it in chinese when i got time
