New friends to eat yum cha with !

Hi ! I'm a kiwi guy who lives in Auckland and wants to make some Chinese speaking friends. I'm really interested in Hong Kong and I love cantonese food, but if you are from Beijing, Shanghai or some other place it is OK because I'm interested in those places too !!

I'm not young anymore, but not so old yet ! When I was young I visited Hong Kong but I haven't yet visited Beijing or other parts of China. I really want to go to China and travel around. I've visited other parts of Asia but still no chance to really explore China. When I was a university student I studied beginner's Chinese, but actually it was so hard ! ha ha ha. Nobody could understand my speaking ! Now I've forgotten my beginner's Chinese :-(  Maybe later I can learn some phrases that are useful for travelling !!

I used to have some Chinese friends who I could talk with about China and eat yum cha or other chinese foods ! They could tell me which restaurants were good and which were no good. Actually I like most chinese foods, but I don't like to eat animal parts like chicken feet, offal etc. ha ha. Probably that doesn't surprise you ! ha ha.

Unfortunately my friends all live overseas now and I lost contact with them a while ago. So if I can I want to meet some kind and friendly people to chat with. I don't care about age or whether you are male or female. But probably it is better that you are in your 30s or 40s, as I probably don't have much in common with very young people who are just 21 or 22. But actually any age is OK, so if you are 29 or 55 and want to meet, then it's OK ! Also I prefer to meet people who live or plan to live in NZ, not just a student who is here for a short time.

During the week I am busy with my work (it is quite boring ha ha), so if I have free time usually it is in the weekend. Although I might have a bit of free time during the week in the evening.

My hobbies include jogging, hiking, reading, swimming, watching movies, cooking etc. Also I'm really interested in Psychology, Economics, Web Design, etc

I'm also rich and handsome ! ha ha just joking !!! Actually I'm just an average person leading a little bit of a boring life here in Auckland !!

Anyway I will be happy if I can make a friend or friends who I can sometimes meet for coffee or maybe eat lunch with.

I don't know if anyone will reply, but if you reply I will try and answer everyone. If more than a few people reply then maybe I won't have time to meet you quickly, but I'm sure we will have a chance to meet a bit later !

Hello Wang Kai. I will send you an e-mail tomorrow when I get home from work. I don't know why the email didn't work for you, I tested it just now and it seems fine.

Don't forget you have to replace the "at" with the @ and remove any spaces. I wrote it like that so I wouldn't get any spam e-mails.
