Parent and Grandparent Multiple Entry Visitor Visa
The Parent and Grandparent Multiple Entry Visitor Visa allows for the parent or grandparent of a New Zealand citizen or resident to apply for a three year multiple entry visitor visa.

The partner of a parent or grandparent may be included in the application; however, a dependent child (or children) of the parent or grandparent cannot be included. They must apply in their own right under another visitor’s visa policy.

The multiple entry visitor visa will generally be valid for three years from the date of issue and allow for a stay of up to six months per entry to New Zealand.  The overall maximum time a parent or grandparent can stay during the three year period is 18 months.  Further details of the Parent and Grandparent Multiple Entry Visitor policy can be viewed on our website.

This type of visa can only be applied for offshore and cannot be processed in NZ. Full medicals completed by an INZ Panel Doctor need to be included in the application.
