FEBRUARYFEBRUARY: Best fish and chips 二月：最好的炸鱼薯条 Ilam Seafoods, 211A Waimairi Rd, Ilam 
The battered hoki and crumbed gurnard were fresh and flaky, with golden coatings, and the chips were crisp. At $10.60 for two pieces of fish and a scoop, it was a cheap and generous meal for two. Hoki鱼柳包浆的炸鱼新鲜薄脆，外皮金黄，配上香脆炸薯条。10.60刀就可以买到两片炸鱼和一大包薯条，如此宜人的价格就可以靠谱地喂饱两人了！
MARCHMARCH: Best Thai meal 三月：最好的泰国餐 - 泰式腰果辣鸡 Pad med mamuang at Kum Pun Thai, 73 Victoria St 
This meatless version of the classic chicken, chilli and cashew-nut dish was packed with pineapple, fried tofu and vegetables. Served with a mound of rice, this dish was a bargain at $10. 这是无肉版的泰式腰果辣鸡丁，配菜有菠萝，炸豆腐和蔬菜，旁边高耸着一大堆米饭，只要10刀就可以狠狠的果腹了！

A delightfully smoky tomato sauce accompanied the beans and spicy chorizo, which arrived in a cast-iron pan topped with poached eggs. With a hearty slab of crunchy bread, this dish left us satisfied. 烟熏番茄酱拥抱着烤豆和西班牙小香肠，盛在铸铁锅里，顶上盈盈立着溏心煎蛋，附带一块香脆面包，怎么吃都会让人极度满足！
JUNEJUNE: Best soup 六月：最好的汤 - 南瓜火腿汤 Pumpkin and bacon soup at Sasuke Sushi and Japanese, 204 Hills Rd, Shirley 
For $6.50, our large takeaway cup was full to the brim with a velvety, vibrant brew. It was both creamy and peppery, while the addition of salty bacon added a smoky taste. 只要6.5刀，就可以买到一大杯满到杯沿的丝绒般销魂的南瓜火腿汤，新鲜，丝滑而椒魅，烟熏的粗犷配搭火腿的咸香，定能让你舔净杯子！
JULYJULY: Best meat dish 七月：最好的肉餐 - 老化牛眼扒 300g aged ribeye at One Good Horse, 6 Inwoods Rd, Parklands 
A medium-rare steak stole the show from a whopping plate of crunchy fries and fresh coleslaw. The beef was melt-in-the-mouth soft, while the salad made us feel guilt-free.
300克的牛眼扒，重量级，三分熟，盘里的脆薯条和凉拌卷心菜都甘愿成为配角了，牛肉酥软，入口而化，肉吃的太多了？沙拉最后负责为我们平衡一下肉食者鄙的感觉！
AUGUSTAUGUST: Best pie 八月：最好的派- 熏肉西洋菜派
Smoky pork and watercress pie from Michael's at Hillmorton, 2D Coppell Pl, Hoon Hay 
Splitting open the golden, light pastry released an appetising smoky aroma. The smooth, meaty gravy kept the pork tender and the smoky flavour locked in. 熏肉西洋菜派，撕开金黄的酥皮，烟熏的滋味就弥漫开来，浓郁的肉汁令猪肉细嫩，烟熏卓著！
SEPTEMBERSEPTEMBER: Best chicken dish 九月：最好的鸡肉菜- 烟熏鸡肉沙律 Smoked chicken salad at The Carlton, 1 Papanui Rd 
A sliced smoked chicken breast arrived on top of a huge pile of fresh greens. Tiny cubes of diced pumpkin, slices of fresh pear and a sprinkling of sliced almonds packed out the dish. 烟熏鸡肉沙律，切片的烟熏鸡肉随意洒在大堆头的绿色蔬菜上，还散落着南瓜丁，香梨片和杏仁片，令味蕾的印象深刻！
OCTOBEROCTOBER: Best fast food 十月：最好的快餐– 花样拼盘
A mixed platter from Mosaic by Simo, 3/300 Lincoln Rd, Addington 
We sampled a bit of everything at this Middle Eastern banquet: dolmades, bronzed chicken wings and spicy falafel. All tasted fresh and flavours popped. A takeaway that is good for the body and soul. 花样拼盘，中东风味的各式小食的荟萃，大米羊肉菜叶包，烤鸡翅，辣沙律三文治等等，全部都很新鲜，滋味爆棚，让你精神肉体全满足！
NOVEMBERNOVEMBER: Best brunch 十一月：最好早午餐(brunch=breakfast+lunch) Grilled fish and Thai spiced lentils at Mrs Hucks, 12 Show Pl, Addington  While the portion was modest, the flavours were in perfect balance. A fork full of moist blue nose fish, with a spoonful of spiced lentils, carrot and basil pesto saw the plate cleared in no time. 泰式烤鱼配辣扁豆，虽然份量一般般，滋味却甚完美，一把叉起肥嫩多汁的蓝鼻鱼，外带一大勺辣扁豆，还有胡罗卜，罗勒沙司垫底，瞬间就被清盘了！
