Job Title: Pastry Chef (Graduate/Intermediate Level) Location: New Market, Auckland Job Type: Part-Time (3-4 days a week, late afternoon to night shift) The Role:We are looking for a passionate Pastry Chef with a knack for crafting beautiful and delicious desserts. This role is ideal for a graduate or someone with intermediate experience in commercial pastry making, eager to grow and refine their skills in a supportive and innovative environment. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the preparation and decoration of cakes and pastries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Ensure all products meet the high standards of quality and presentation expected
Requirements: - Proven experience in a pastry kitchen; commercial experience is preferred.
- Culinary arts qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills as you will be working mainly in an English environment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work late afternoon to night shifts, 3-4 days a week.
- Willing to work in the industry as long term career goal.
