This is a full time permanent position.
Are you looking for an exciting and challenging career? This is a hands-on technical role within the Communications and Information Systems Branch that offers exceptional professional development opportunities and the chance to work with leading edge technology.
The successful applicant will be responsible for desktop computer repair and maintenance, and will ideally have a qualification in Network + and A+ and/or relevant industry experience in the support of computer hardware and application software. In addition, the role will provide a single point of contact for all 1st and 2nd level support of the NZDF CIS infrastructure within agreed service levels.
You will have a proven record of producing results in a similar role, together with excellent interpersonal skills, high-level analytical skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines under pressure. A sound working knowledge of Microsoft and network products in an enterprise environment is desirable. The incumbent is required to have the ability to effectively manage change, to influence others to a course of action and to display excellent documentation skills.
This is a role where you will enjoy handling and resolving challenges, and be enthusiastic about 'making a difference'.
