俺有一个问题请教：

The clients (sharepoint 2007) usually setup the Access Requests email with one of the Site Admin's email address. When the SA is changed (the SA might leave the company or change the role), the Access Requests email addresses aren't updated automatically.

Any feasible solution to make this process automatic? (other than timer job...)

Try go to Site settings--> People and Group-->Select the Group you would like people to request access-->Settings-->Group settings -->Change the email at the bottom

解释一下 "Access Request Settings"  
Allow users to request access to this Web site. All requests for access will be sent to the e-mail address listed in the following field. The owner of the e-mail address should have the Full Control permission level.  

Under 2007, _layouts/user.aspx -> Settings ->Access Requests

不是 membership request email setting

回楼上两位
你可以建立一个admin@companyname.co.nz的account. SA有变动时, 改变的只是personal account
admin@companyname.co.nz是permanent account 来的SA只需要知道admin的password

你在permission中不要以user来setup, 要以group来setup, 然后在新SA来的时候, 可以将其join到一个specific group, 所有的过程都在enrol的时候在AD中完成. 不需要在sharepoint中改动.

恩。。使用group email is a good practice. however, my client is a little bit big, they have thousands of sites, and it's not pracitcal to create/maintain so many site admin email groups...

i guess there is no way to do it

Site Collection Administrator 不是只能设置一个primary 和secondary 的Administrator （只能是个人的AD 账号，不能是Security Groups are not supported）
还是你说的SA 是另外的意思

我们公司大约有600 多个sites
我都是写powershell 管理和维护这些站点的，不然真的得累死人
你可以写一个powershell script 然后每次换sa 的时间，改下参数，运行脚本就搞定了
如果真的要自动的话，你在sharepoint 里面建一个list，保存用户 的资料，如入Login, user group, permission level等信息，然后写一个workflow, 来执行这些操作~
个人意见~~
sharepoint 很好，但不是万能的，所以不要指望它能完成一切~
不可能的时间就大胆的跟老板说，这个做起来很难~

Site Collection Administrato可以很多人，你说的那个过去较site owner (site.owner)

Whether an account is added to the Site Collection Administrators group from the site collection provisioning area (in Central Admin) or from within the site collection admin options (in the site collection itself), the resultant permission and privilege set is the same

Yes , SPSite = site=site collection
SPWeb=web=subsite

我也是2010啊.
我以为你在说Secondary Administrator 我终于搞清楚楼主的问题了...Site Admin只能是user.
我们公司不是专门搞sharepoint的 但是有一个2010的server 没涉及过上千个site的情况..
不过除了楼上大哥说的脚本 基本别无他选.

我在想你们做专门sharepoint的具体是做什么的？帮客户建站？一个客户上千和sites用来干嘛？

修改ps也是人工介入了，还不如直接上UI改了，所以也不行

ok，综合各位大哥的意见，基本上认定这玩艺自动化不了了，除了timer job

只有timer job 能够实现自动。但也不是real time。还有一种方案就是自己写个application page来管理site admin, 完全不用OOB的site admin page。

MS US一个客户３个月用了６０TB, 最近刚刚升级到１２０TB.
