About the RoleWe are a busy tuition centre seeking an additional entry-level Administrative Support staff member to assist managers and directors as our operations continue to grow. This is a structured support role performed under supervision, though it will also require independent execution of tasks, with work reviewed by managers and directors. The role combines general administrative duties with systems and data responsibilities, including maintaining digital student records, organising files, supporting internal systems, and ensuring operational accuracy. This role is well suited to early-career individuals who are confident with computers, efficient with keyboard typing, and comfortable working in a structured digital environment within an education setting.
Key Responsibilities• General administrative and operational support as directed by managers • Assisting with student data entry and digital file organisation • Supporting invoice generation and maintaining accurate records • Assisting with timetable, meeting, and calendar coordination • Supporting communication with students and parents • Assisting teachers with administrative coordination and basic technical support (training provided) • Supporting internal systems organisation and maintaining data accuracy • Assisting with marketing tasks such as simple social media posts or promotional materials
Basic Requirements • Available to work weekday afternoons to evenings • Available to work weekends when required • Fluent in written and spoken English • Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) • Comfortable using computers on a daily basis, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace • Familiar with organising files in Google Drive and working across Docs, Sheets, and Slides • Efficient with keyboard typing and able to work accurately when handling digital information • Able to write clear and professional emails and communicate confidently through messaging platforms • Comfortable hosting and managing Zoom meetings (training can be provided) • Able to create simple tables, forms, basic charts, and presentations using Google tools • Reliable, careful, and attentive to detail
