Auckland Anniversary Weekend.
Auckland's Viaduct Harbour comes alive once again to celebrate the 2010 Auckland Anniversary Weekend.
There's plenty to see and do over this long weekend, including:
* music and live performances taking place as part of Auckland International Buskers Festival
* plenty going on at Voyager New Zealand Maritime Museum
* a fireworks display
* the annual Oceanbridge Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta
* and the Auckland Seafood Festival.
As well as this, there are carnival rides for the kids, a South American-themed fiesta and dance party, and a fireworks display to round off the weekend.

General admission $15 (children 13 years and under free with accompanying adult)

Auckland International Buskers Festival

Day shows noon to 6pm daily - plus night shows at various times
Vulcan Lane, Downtown, Princes Wharf, and Viaduct Harbour

An amazing and unique group of acrobats, jugglers, mimes, magicians, pavement artists, comedians and more will come together to create an energetic vibe in Auckland over the long weekend.

Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta

Auckland's 170th Anniversary Day Regatta celebrates our maritime history and heritage on land and sea with a fleet of sail boats, classic yachts, vintage tugboats and tall ships, plus the fastest racers on the water, all competing for line honours in their respective classes.
Best spectator vantage points are Viaduct Harbour, Bastion Point, North Head, East Coast Bays, Tamaki Drive and Orakei Wharf.
