New Zealand sailors involved in British hydrogen bomb tests in thepacific were medically damaged as a result, according to a study oftheir DNA by Massey University.

Now the survivors are demanding their children be tested to see if the radiation damage has been passed on.

MasseyUniversity researchers say 551 sailors from the Rotoiti and Pukakisuffered significant genetic damage from the 1957 British tests in thePacific.
