Dear all,
May I have some comments about the ACCA in accounting in NZ?
I've passed CFA, FRM and CAIA exams and had 7 year working experience in the investment field (mainly bond market).
Now I'm thinking to try to find a job in NZ, but have no idea about how to start.
I heard accounting and auditing are on the shortage list.
Please share your advice.

You should be a really smart guy, because I have heard that CFA is really hard to pass, and I am planning to attend, but no idea how to start......

Thank you for the reply.
I think it is one thing to pass the exam and another thing to be qualified to work in the industry.
dont hung on the exams, dont hesitate if you wanna take it.
but it is more important to get practical experiences.
I wanna take ACCA becoz i am considering moving to NZ and finance/investment is not a very popular market to find a job.

在这个鸟国， ACCA没有CA值钱， LZ不如来了再考， 不过没有相关工作经验也不行. 还是先找工作靠谱， 毕竟都这么多的学历了

多谢你的回复。我现在也比较困惑。毕竟自己在金融市场做债券投资都已经有7年的时间了。新西兰的金融市场不发达，如果继续做我这个行业可能有困难。所以我才想到了这个出路。我本身在读书和考CFA的时候，对会计和财务就比较喜欢。不知道有没有对新西兰金融行业比较了解的呢？给些意见吧。

Impressive resume! Are you intending to apply for PR in NZ?
Even if you have accounting & auditing qualification from NZ, you won't be able to get PR.
Not really sure what you mean by you have no idea about how to start.
Do you mean how to get a job in NZ? Look on Trademe, seek and other job search websites. There is plenty of accounting jobs available. I think this is your best head start in NZ: GET A JOB.

Hey, you made the point. I am confusing how to start finding a job. thank you for sharing the job hunting website. My pr ITA is under the processing in INZ, my partner is the principal applicant.
