Contact Energy 的 PowerSure Plan

今天收到Contact Energy 的邮件，他们推出的POWER SURE PLAN，但是要FIX 到2015年10月。

Fixed Daily Charge	33.33 cents/day	30.33 cents/day
Variable usage charge(s)	26.174 cents/kWh	23.817 cents/kWh
Electricity Authority Levy	0.158c per kWh	0.158c per kWh

While your total bill will be a little higher on the PowerSure package, you won't be affected by price increases until at least 31 October 2015. Plus, we'll give you a credit of $100 on your next bill.


但是这个PLAN就没有22% on time promt discount, 代替的是10% promt payment discount.

算下来还是22%OFF的比较便宜，邮件里就解释说可能价格上会升点点，但是FIX了这个PLAN，就不会受将来提价的影响，所以会送$100 credit。

大家认为怎么样啊？我估计暂时不会定吧，等价格涨了再说

这个计划纯撤JB蛋。你算一下，那12%的折扣，每个月200电费，12%就是24刀。你要多用100度电才能拉回来。

我们家也是用contact的，康嫂有个老太婆上门来给我们讲解家居安全知识，我们家的热水是用电烧的。她提到说我们晚上睡觉的时候关掉电炉，这样会省很多电。我们试着照做，确实省不少钱呢。

Meridian有一个really simple pack,他们家的PPD可以到14%.还有$250的credit.

恩  是要两年的fixed charge contract.就是说两年内的电费charge不会变动.如果你家里没有天然气管道接入的话,就是说都是用电,而且是low user(<660kwh/month)的话,每度电是:27.34cent,incl GST,daily charge是38.33cent,如果你是standard user(>660/month)的话,21.1cent/unit,daily charge是175.18cent/day.总体来说比其它公司划算,不过我只是给你参考噢.具体电费会因地区而异.

就好奇问问。因为我觉得一般华人4口之家一年不会用超过8000度电的，所以low user plan会划算一点。

嗯，是应该好好review一下了。contact好像到一年会给review的吧，还是genesis?

是说洗澡的热水吗？一般都是电烧的吧？但是在那里关呢？每天早上洗脸再打开？

According to your bill,you still spent too much on your power bill even you got a high 22% PPD,because you are a low power user as you only consumed 134kwh per month but They charged you a very high daily charge $1.092,which is unbelieveable.With Meridian,their daily charge is  $0.33 and about 24.75cent on unit price,and they have 12% PPD for low user,so i figured out for you, with Contact,you paid $49.5 on this bill(after PPD), with Merdian,you paid $37.4(after PPD) on this bill. save you $12.1 and Meridian will fix this price for 2 years,so you dont have to worry about your power price will going up.

Meridian没有天然气,你可以打电话给Genesis,他们家的天然气比什么NOVA或者其它公司的都便宜.
