On behalf of the Student Learning Centre on the Albany campus, let me wish all our Chinese students a Happy New Year and Welcome to Massey too. If you’re a new student we hope to see you at the Welcome Ceremony at 5.15 this evening in North Harbour Stadium. We will also be talking about our Flying Start programme, which takes place tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday from 4.00 – 6.00 pm in the Sir Neil Waters Building. This is a great preparation for new students, especially focusing on academic writing. The cost for the programme is $45 – this includes a study pack including a DVD and CDs.
