i just rented out mine.... westlake / fullsite / 70's house; few people came in on first day.
3 wanted by submitting their rental application for credit and reference checking
one is asian family, staying in last rented house for 12 yrs. i went to see her house tidy and nice, rented to her. reason for moving, rented property sold
another person is builder, told me he had bad credit before but now living a new life, i hesitated and didn't rent out to him.
another group are navy officers, 4 people to flat. young people and i drove pass there rented house, and call their landlord. apparently good people. reason for moving, rented property on market for selling.
In short, is not that difficult to rent out, not overpricing your rental. be realistic on cooling season.
Rental appraisal by real estate agent $480-$500 (last yr's), i rented out $510
P/S i received a few calls from agents and decided not to use any. Reason: bad experience before, one introduced a person and recommended to me, i then decide to call his landlord and was told he didn't pay rent the day he moved in.... the landlord is a immigrant himself and said he is still chasing the unpaid rent. |
