Check magenatic clutch relay and your air condition filter.
If the filter is dirty, replace it, cost you around $40.00
If the relay is faulty, change it, cost you $7.90.
It is very common fault for toyota produced during 2000 to 2006.
My car has the same problem, fix it by replacing the relay and cost me $7.90
Toyota dealer will charge you $150.00 + GST for the relay, if you go to a poor garage or mechanics, they might ask you to change the compressor, and costing price like sky high. Hope that helps.
