for a country with just 4 million population, it's not fair to compare directly with US or China. Just one of their medium sized city is larger than our entire country. Not to mention the availability of venture start-up fund / capitalists is no where near comparable between NZ and US.
A lot of people probably believe start a technology venture is just a few guys writing computer code all day and after few years a product like Facebook pop-out from no where... That's not how it work.. you need 3 things to start a technology venture, money, money and money.
And statement like '中国的鼓励政策' is not fair too, NZ and China is not the on same play field. If you want compare, perhaps pick a small district / county of China which have 4 million population, and compare the NZ govt's policy with that district / county...
Besides, '人工贵,工资低' is contradictory.. =.=
Having said that, NZ still have a good number of IT start up and IT service export is the fastest growing export industry in NZ for past years. I think NZ is doing well in general in technology start up. |
