Due to rapid growth, we are looking for a newfull-time Quantity Surveyor on permanent contract. This role would suit someonewith Quantity Surveying degree and at least 3 years’ experiences in a QuantitySurveying role from commercial environment.

What you will be doing:

-           Contract administration,including pre-contract and post-contract negotiation and liaison with bothclients and suppliers;

-           Preparing monthlypayment claims, contract variation and extension of term;

-           Preparing anddeveloping estimations and plans based on drawings and specifications;

-           Feasibility analysis,tender documentation and bill of quantities;

-           Providing support tooperation’s team for negotiation and dispute/claim solutions;

-           Assisting indeveloping commercial management process and control measures designed tominimum risks and maximize operational performance of contracts.

Who you are:

-           At least 3 years’experiences in a quantity surveying, Estimating, or contract administrationrole for commercial projects from a New Zealand business;

-           Holds the relevantqualifications (i.e. Quantity Surveying);

-           Understanding ofContract Law and experience in managing contracts including progress claims,extensions of time, variations and contract negotiations;

-           Demonstrableexperience of dealing with multiple clients, forms of contract and methods ofmeasurement;

-           Be able to anticipateproblems and ensure early intervention;

-           Possess negotiationskills;

-           Must have the right towork in New Zealand, you may be a citizen, resident or hold a non-employerspecified work visa valid for at least 6 months;

-           Being able tocommunicate in Chinese Mandarin is also desired but not essential.
