On the handset, tap on the Start button.
Tap on Settings. Tap on Connections tab. Tap on Connections icon. Tap on Add a new modem connection under My Work Network. Enter VF WAP in the Enter a name for the connection field. Select Cellular Line (GPRS, 3G) in the drop down list of Select a modem. Tap on Next. Enter live.vodafone.com in the Access point name field. Tap on Next. Enter in the User name field. Enter in the Password field. Tap on Advanced. Select Use server-assigned IP address. Tap on OK. Tap on Finish. Tap on Set up my proxy server under My Work Network. Ensure that both check boxes are Check. Tap on Advanced. Tap on HTTP. Enter 172.30.38.3 in the Server field. Enter 8080 in the Port field. Tap on OK three times. The handset is now configured for using GPRS.
