ACCOUNTING CLERK We are looking for a accounting clerk to perform a variety of accounting, book keeping and financial tasks.
Main responsibilities: - Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
- Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
- Daily entry of key data of financial transactions in database, note large volume
- Provide assistance and support to company personnel
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets
You will be experienced in: - Keeping financial records updated
- Preparing reports and reconciling bank statements
- Running accounting software programs (e.g. Xero) to process business transactions, like: accounts payable and receivable
- Must be advanced excel user.
Please note the following: - Successful applicants will be required to undertake a 30min competency test to demonstrate their Excel skills they have outlined in their application.
