Hiring 1-2 Casual Labourer

We are looking for 1-2 casual labourer to ease some work load.

Our workshop is located in Onehunga but we often work offsite. You can either travel to site directly or meet at the workshop and travel to site together with the team leader. Site work will still be within Auckland.

We are a small team of 4 people, mostly in the 30s with our most junior member is in his early 20s.

Personal protective gear will be provided (ie. safety glasses, hard hat, gloves etc) but you'll need to prepare your own safety boots (steel cap boots) and hi-vest.

The job is mainly to help carry materials and tools, clean up rubbish, clean panels, simple work using powertools etc. The team leader will guide you and let you know what to do so don't worry!

Criteria
-Physically fit as this job involves manual lifting
-Reliable and punctual
-Good common sense

Pay will be minimum wage + holiday pay. Work hours will vary but it should be around 10-30 hours a week.

We are a company specilizing in the installation and maintanence of anything related to insulated panels. Insulated panels are used in the building of commercial chillers, freezers, laboratories, manufacturing plants, portable buildings etc. It's a very niche skills with growing demand but unfortunately decreasing numbers of experienced installers. It's a good opportunity to dip your toes in this field and if you think it's the thing for you, we can either look at retaining you as a permanent employee and training you up or introduce you to other installers.
