We are a kitchen design and manufacturing company based in Auckland and currently have a corporate accountant position available. We are looking for an experienced accountant for the accounts role to join our vibrant and diversified team. For this position, the applicant should have relevant qualifications, and NZ accounting or bookkeeping working experience.

Job Requirements: Responsibilities include: - Accounts Payables and Receivables
- Establish and maintain and improve accounting systems and accounting control procedures
- Record and inspect account books for accuracy and efficiency
- Organise and update financial records, reconcile bank statements
- Prepare and file tax returns, liaise with IRD
- Perform periodical and year-end close process and tasks
- Prepare year-end reporting documentations for external chartered accountant and assist them with financial statements
- Report to director, provide information on the company financial status
- Perform administrative, operational, and ad hoc tasks as required
Skills and Experience Required: - Qualification in Accounting / Finance
- NZ accounting experience
- Familiar with New Zealand accounting standards and regulations
- Experience filing tax returns
- Good knowledge of accounting packages-MYOB desirable
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
- A natural ability for numbers, with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work under pressure as this role can be demanding with changing priorities throughout the day
Ideally, you will have great communication skills, a great personality, and be able to work as a team, mandarin speaking preferred.
