Office Administrator This is a permanent opportunity forthe best in administration! We are general merchandise wholesale business basedin Manukau City. Have been in trade for 25 years. Our customers include all thediscount stores, convenience stores, independent supermarket. This is a full-timerole 8:00-4:30 Monday to Friday. As an Administrator, you will beresponsible for organising and coordinating office operations and procedures inorder to ensure organisational effectiveness and efficiency for the team. As an Administrator, some of yourkey areas of responsibility will include: - Answering telephone calls: You will answer questions or take orders from customers You will be required to respond to them and/or direct them to the appropriate person.
- You will enter and process orders placed by our customers using both the online ordering system and the order entry systems
- You are required to work with the warehouse supervisor to ensure that orders are entered in accurately and that any issues are bought to the customer’s attention;
- You will need to track orders that are received every day.
- Monitor emails and invoicing: You will be in charge of invoicing all completed orders that are ready to leave warehouse and also credit notes
- Shipments: You will be responsible for choosing correct transport companies and arranging all deliveries for completed orders
- Help visiting customers checking out their purchase.
- Other general office duties including ordering office supplies etc.
To be successful in thisrole: - Previous administration experience and solid MS Office skills is a must,
- Experiences in front line customer communication
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience in the general merchandise supplies is desirable
- Strong work ethic, and reliability
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Keyboard and data entry skills
- Applicant who could speak fluent Chinese or other Asian language is preferable as we are dealing with great portion of Asian retail store owners.
- As this is a permanent role, those only with NZ Citizenship, permanent residency or a valid work visa will be considered for this role
