geeees both over 1k, both too expensive i think, but your money, your say.
that wetsuit looks fine for Scuba, too thick for free diving,local brand, low re-sale value.
looks like jacket + long john gives you 15mm in your torso area, and 7.5 in limbs?
you need extra weights for that. I am guessing 12kg+ (for a medium build male), if you have a 7/5mm wetsuit, could get away with 10kg.
I'd prefer as less weights as possible. they are bloody heavy when you have to carry them before/after dive, and that extra 2kg would make a big difference when you swim on surface too.
if you got $400 budget for wetsuit, get a well-known brand product from your local dive shop.
Dive HQ Petone had some on sale last time I visited, sure Island Bay divers and Splash Gordon has a good range of wetsuits within that budget.
Anyway, I recommend 7mm in winter/summer, 5mm summer for scuba within 30 meters depth.
