* Job Vacancy: Operations Manager | Stone Tech Ltd | $35+/hr | West Auckland We are a stone benchtop fabrication company based in West Auckland, seeking a capable and experienced Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and assist the Director in managing the entire production and client workflow. * Location: Te Atatū, West Auckland
* Pay Rate: Starting from $35/hour (negotiable based on experience)
* Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (occasional Saturday if required)
* Reports to: Company Director
* Start Date: Immediate or negotiable
Key Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate the entire production process: measuring, scheduling, cutting, delivery, and installation Communicate with clients, confirm details, follow up on issues and after-sales Report daily to the Director and assist with decision-making and workflow tracking Supervise the workshop team, assign tasks, and monitor performance Work with the assistant to handle documentation, reporting, and general office support Assist in material ordering, inventory checks, and monthly stocktaking Oversee equipment status and maintenance planning (no hands-on maintenance required) Identify areas for improvement and provide weekly/monthly operational reports
Requirements: Previous experience in factory/production/site management (stone/kitchen/bathroom industry ) Ability to read plans and conduct site measurements Good understanding of benchtop fabrication processes Basic English communication skills (verbal and written) Strong leadership and coordination abilities, high sense of responsibility Problem-solving mindset, able to handle pressure and multi-task Willingness to grow with the company and take on long-term responsibility
