Position: Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Tutorand ESOL Tutor (Contract)

About the Role:

·       Teaching Workplace Literacy and Numeracy and/or NZCEL and providing learning support to new migrant students

·       Collaborating with other teachers and the programme leader for self-assessment, evaluation andreview to provide students with a motivational, supportive and high-quality learning experience

·       Participating in the development, review and moderation of course materials, and curriculum and assessment designto ensure the intended outcomes

·       Maintaining student records and performance including attendance, assessment results and individual learning plans

·       Attending Teacher Only Daysand professional development activities organized by CNSST to enhance professional Skills and Experience

·       Available for both online and onsite deliveries

·       Onsite classrooms are located in Panmure, Pakuranga, New Lynn, Westgate, and Albany

Requirements:

·       Certificate or diploma in English Language teaching, CELTA or DELTA or equivalent

·       Adult teaching qualification such as NZCALNE(Level 5), or is willing to obtain this

·       Bachelor’s Degree or higher

·       Fluentin both Japanese and English, Hindi and English, or Chinese and English, or anative English speaker

·       Computer-literate with online teaching abilities

·       Experienced in teachingg eneral English and/or NZCEL Foundation, 1-4, IELTS or PTE

·       Able to applyv arious methodologies for meeting different needs of students and the course benefits

·      Holding New Zealand residence visa or a valid work visa
