Job Description Asthe Construction Site Manager, you will lead daily construction siteoperations. This hands-on, outdoor role requires strong leadership,communication, organisational and management skills. You will beresponsible for managing Tarora’s inhouse construction team and third partysubcontractors, as well as ensuring safety, quality and programme goals are metwithin budget and deadlines. You will report directly to the ConstructionProject Manager. Main Tasks · Coordinate and supervise all on-site construction activities. · Interpret and implement construction drawings and specifications. · Schedule site activities and manage work sequencing for efficientdelivery. · Lead regular site meetings and daily site briefings. · Supervise subcontractors, tradespeople, and labourers to ensure workquality and productivity. · Enforce site safety rules and maintain Site Specific Safety Plans(SSSPs). · Ensure compliance with consent conditions, building regulations, andhealth & safety requirements. · Liaise with engineers, consultants, and council inspectors on sitematters. · Maintain daily site records, QA documentation, and incident reporting. · Monitor and report site progress to the Project Manager, flagging anyissues or delays. · Coordinate deliveries and manage materials and equipment logistics. Experience & Skills · Minimum 3 years of on-site construction experience, with at least 1 yearin a leadership or supervisory role. · Trade qualification or diploma in building, carpentry, or similarconstruction field (preferred). · In-depth understanding of construction site operations, building codes,and H&S regulations. · Excellent coordination and communication skills. · Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities. · Basic computer and reporting skills (site reports, progress tracking). · SiteSafe Passport or willingness to obtain it. · Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Chinese(preferred).
