2025年东区钢铁公司高薪诚聘Junior Quantity Surveyor/Estimator About us Brilliance International Ltd is one of New Zealand’s leading independent fabricator and suppliers of reinforcing products to the building and construction industry. We now have an exciting opportunity for a full time Junior Quantity Surveyor/ Estimator to join our team in East Tamaki, Auckland.
The role will include but not limit to the following duties and responsibilities: - Reading and understanding drawings, providing quotations and estimates in a timely and accurate manner.
- Contract negotiation and Pre-start documents preparation.
- Detailing of reinforcing bar, mesh and accessories from structural and architectural drawings.
- Cost control by analysing labour, time and material requirements.
- Coordinating with client, colleagues or subcontractor and ability to resolve any detailing and estimating issues.
- Ensure that all client queries are answered effectively, promptly, and appropriately.
- Negotiating and submitting monthly claims and variations.
- Visiting project sites to monitor progress regularly.
- According to the programme to arrange material and labour resources.
The ideal person will: - Reinforcing steel experience prior
- General computer/excel/word/AutoCAD skills are essential
- Understanding of construction, materials, pricing, and industry.
- Able to analyse problems and strategize for better solutions.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Be committed to health and safety
- Previous experience in estimating would be preferred
- Hold similar values when it comes to honesty, integrity, teamwork
