Question 7 d is checking the 4 assumptions in part b.
e is stating all the hypothesis like in the course book.

那个到底要画一个box plot还是两个呢? 用SPSS怎么画? 我试过只把difference打进去然后他不给我画 然后我又试过把Incr1 and Incr2的value打进去然后画出来怪怪的......请问大家是怎么画的啊?

i could do c) alright but quite stuck with 6 a) and b)....so many uncertainties.

嗯，能理解为什么你这样算。第一个scenario是测New Jersey的proportion是不是和united states的一样，H0: p = 0.73.

而且 有两个未知数 X和P 所以不知道怎么求
第四份ASSMT是给了我们怎么算ESTIMATOR的公式得..又有具体数字...所以比较 ...

不是吧，我看怎么是一样的题呢．虽然有两个未知数, 答案是一个sum, 不用evaluate specifically.

第一题 step 5 公式中的hypothesised value就是11.7了？？？我感觉是不是只由parameter 是single mean and single proportion的时候 hypothesised value才不是zero？ 其余两种情况都是zero吧？

a) Distribution应该是negative binomial, 因为negative binomial是count the number of failures before the nth success, 这里我们要第20个success.

b) expected value 和variance用negative binomial的formula计算就好了。
