This is obviously a resource consent monitoring condition, it does not suggest there is any land stability/geotechnical concerns on site (at least, not what LZ said). If there is really a land stability issue, the title may simply have a tag under section 73 of the Building Act 2004 warning of the potential hazards which could be checked on title but not the LIM. Afterall, it is not likely Council will monitor 'ground movement' likes what you said (they simply don't have this resource or capability). |
