"a wise old Chinese saying that a man sits at the open window with his mouth open for a very long time before a roast duck flies in," -------------> in Chinese, even though you do nothing, you still get gunned down (lied down also get gunned down).
Roast duck in this context is more appropriate in Chinatown setting - that is, if you open your window and your mouth is open at Chinatown, there is a high chance that you might get hit with a roast duck on your mouth.
Just like a saying "don't open your mouth in a fry infected eatery, the fry might fly into your mouth"
It is a form of sarcasm directing on a pool of badly behaved groups and their remarks.
