一直说要写写自己找工作的过程，现在终于有时间写写了。

首先提醒找工作的朋友，找工作要提早下手，我是明年6月才毕业，没有工签，没有pr，不过我今年9月就有了offer。所以以上这些都不是你不找工作的接口或者说一定找不到，早动手，早早熟悉你的行业，知道有什么样的好公司，它们什么时候招人。什么公司在某个行业里是marketleader，公司工作的环境是什么样的。

其次，从找工作的过程中，你业可以知道你所在的行业的发展趋势，新的技术，因为好多在学校学的知识出来就落伍了。（IT我在行业是这样）从而有可以帮助你更好的学习。这点很重要，再你stage2或者stage 3 1st semester 你就可以去一个大公司interview，对你本身几年来的学习是一种很好肯定，更激发你学习的劲头。

最重要的是你可以从中找到你的卖点，你所学的知识和你的经验最适合什么样的工作。我申请过好多IT的工作，基本上什么position都申请过了，后来学了infosys340（=infosys342 next year ),基本上只要申请graduate developer都会得到interview，从这个我就知道，如果找这样的工作就很好找。

从更多的interview中你有可以积累经验，好多technical的问题，你可能都明白，不过让你用英语说出来，可能就不简单了。

最后，提早申请工作以从这个时候建立你的network，在你上学的时候加入什么组织，都不如可以得到一次去一个不错公司interview的机会，记住，如果你提前申请，（还有6个月或者9个月毕业）你interview万了以后一定要要对方的businesscard。这些都是你的重要的关系，等到你即将毕业或者毕业的时候还没有offer的话，你就可以利用这些关系，给它们发email说你毕业了，问问有没有工作机会，或者电话联系。这比盲目的发cv要来的有效的多。

再补充一点，不要被公司打出的广告刚出来吓到，记得一个老师和我说过，当年MS SQL SERVER 2005 刚出来也就不过一年多，公司打出的广告是要3年的经验，这根本是不可能的，公司招人都想要好的，不过在新西兰又的时候不大可能招到人，所以公司会从已经申请的人里选好的。不要被广告吓到，自己感觉ok就去申请，最差就是得到一个拒绝你的信了。

找工作要提早下手，从中更好的了解你的行业，行业里的每个公司，发掘自己的卖点，一定会找到一分不错的工作。

Depends on what you study.I got my job 9 months before I graduate.Ionly hold student permit.I am currently working as a summerinternship at Cecil Learning Management System in Auckland Uni.Whether u can after a job or not depends on yourself not pr!Do your best ,if you cant get the job simply because you dont have pr.Then pass it ,it is sth you cant change.You dont spend time on sth you cant do anything about it.Try you best for next chance.If you are far more better than others , then pr is not important.Life is not fair buddy , get used to it!

嗯...不错...

我觉得interview这经验实在太有用了真到毕业的时候哪怕是有过大公司interview的经验优势一下就体现出来了...

interview之后一定一定记得要feedback, 不管是好的还是坏的.....

Have you got your cv ?if not , do it first.Got to career centre.Also when you apply for the job , dont apply for the job agent advertised.It is just waste of time without work permit.
The way to tell the difference between agent or the real company is that google the company name ,then you can see the company is agent or not.

seek ,trademe,careerhub.I prefer careerhub,coz it aiming for graduate.some companies website are also quite useful.

if u do acctg & fin, u can start looking for internship positions at big companies, such as big 4 n other smaller second tier firms...BDO, GT, Staples etc

normally internship recruitment start at early March, and ends at the end of March, so if u wanna get prepared maybe its a good idea to start now. even if u dont get in, the experience is gonna be worth a lot to u...

You can apply for ICT summer student project as well.You will normally get invited by email around October.

Yes, there are some in first year. But there are only a few that have a perfect GPA in their 3 years of studies.

What was your first year GPA?

From what I found second year's GPA should be higher than first year, since first year papers have the highest fail rate to stop people who aren't good enough from progressing any further. (Just a general observation of course, I know maths 208 still fail a fair amount of people)

compsci成绩好的真的很多。

这一门就是天分+兴趣+勤奋，只要有天分的，学起来就不算吃力，加上一些兴趣，和勤奋的学习，很容易拿好成绩。

没有什么主观题，所以好好复习，考试就不用太担心

其实我觉得GPA这个东西就好比身高....差不多就行了...没必要太猛...但也不能太低......

Not bad, although for BCom(Hon) you will need at least a GPA of 7 or you won't even make it on the list.

But I am sure you will be fine, just work harder!

So for those who studying cs , you have to pay a lot attention to yout gpa , because a lot people getting gpa 7 +.When you graduate , you are going to compete with them.If you say gpa is not important,dont complain you cant get a job or even an interview,Because you know there are a lot of people who are really good at this in uni.Cs is 100% brain work,you have to work really hard.Although, I think there are some smart ways to study.My advice is aiming for an gpa of 6-7 at least.You wont see the difference until when you apply jobs.It is too late at time time.

So study hard and smart.
