Location: Bluff Southland
For staff living outside Bluff, a $10 per shift allowance will be provided to help cover fuel costs.
Duty ManagerWe are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Duty Manager to join our team.
Flexible options of part-time/full-time avaliable.
The role involves supervising daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, supporting and leading the team, and maintaining compliance with licensing and health & safety requirements.
Pay rate: $26-$28 based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
*Oversee daily restaurant/bar operations during shifts
*Ensure smooth service and excellent customer experience
*Manage and support staff on duty
*Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally
*Ensure compliance with liquor licensing and health & safety regulations
Requirements:
*Current Duty Manager Certificate
*Previous hospitality experience in a supervisory role
*Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
*Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
Cook / ChefWe are looking for an experienced and passionate cook/chef to join our team. fixed-time positions are available to cover our busy seasons (Dec-Apr).
The role involves preparing and cooking meals to a high standard, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and working effectively as part of a team in a busy hospitality environment.
Pay rate: $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook dishes consistently to high quality standards
Follow food safety and hygiene requirements at all times
Assist with menu planning and daily kitchen operations
Manage stock levels and minimize wastage
Work as part of the team to ensure smooth and efficient service
Requirements:
Proven cooking experience in a commercial kitchen
Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork, time management, and communication skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
