About the role
As ahands-on Site Manager on Client-side, you will be overseeing and managing allaspects of the project construction from start to completion, and also lead a team to carry out on-site works ifrequired.
Responsibilities
· Managing all site activities from start to completion and reported to the Project Manager.
· Day today management of contractors, suppliers, Council inspectors, completion of paperwork and other admin task.
· Planning detailed works and schedules based on ProjectManager`s master programme.
· Coordinatewith Main Contractor, suppliers, consultants, subcontractorsand labourers to ensure safety, quality standardsand timeline are met.
· Reviewand verify day works, timesheet, record deliveries.
· Capable of discover &resolve potential risks on safety, quality, programmeand cost ahead.
· Assist Project Manager in procurement and adhere to companyconfidentiality policies.
· Good knowledge and experience in Health and Safety and adhering to company health and safety policies.
· You must be willingto get on the toolsand help out when required.
· Working closelywith project and operations teams to ensure smoothand successful delivery of the project
· You must accept the arrangement of traveling outside ofAuckland occasionally and staying for up to 5 days each travel.
Qualifications
· Trade qualified, LBP required.
· You musthave experience working in the building industry and have a proven track recordwith working in main contractor or developer on new build projects of at least3 years.
· A drivenand results focused individual, you will demonstrate exceptional planning andorganizational proficiency and thrive in busy and technically demandingenvironments where innovative thinking and commercial smarts are highlyregarded.
· Solutions/Result focused, with attention to details.
· Experienced in delivering projectsfrom excavation to finish.
· Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
· Proficient in both English and Mandarin languages – speaking andwriting.
· Expertknowledge of building products, construction methodology and relevant rules,regulations and quality standards.
· Experience in retirement villageconstruction is a plus.
· Have a great work ethic and morals. Honest and reliable.
You will be required to complete drug testing and pre-employment checks to be successful in this role.
